SquidgeDSP

SquidgeSoft VST/CLAP audio plugin library, built with DPF (DISTRHO Plugin Framework).

Prerequisites

• Compiler: clang
• Build tools: make, bear

Components

SquidgeDSP is built around reuseable components.

• Gain - basic signal amplification.
• Clipper - For distortion. limits the maximum volume of a signal by clipping anything which exceeds the limit. Has hard/soft/folding clipping logic.

Build

Clone

git clone --recurse-submodules <repo>

If already cloned without submodules

git submodule update --init --recursive

Compile

make plugins

To cross compile with windows. (Not actually tested but builds)

make plugins CC=x86_64-w64-mingw32-gcc CXX=x86_64-w64-mingw32-g++ WINDOWS=true

Do bear in front to generate types

make clean
bear -- make plugins
